Fayette County School Corporation Families,
As we get closer to the start of school, we would like to remind you of the importance of your child's regular attendance at school. If your child is not here, our incredible educators cannot teach them. Also, we all have an obligation to help our students develop the durable skills necessary to be employable adults. In short, showing up matters! And finally, it's the law.
Thank you for your help this school year getting your child to school on time each and every day they are able.

Hello Fayette Central families. My name is Mrs Ailes. I am very excited to join the Hornet team as your media assistant! A little about me: I am a wife and mother of 2 boys. I absolutely love dogs! My husband & I were both born and raised in Connersville. We just recently relocated to Connersville in April after 12 years. I have been in education for 4 years, 2 years at pre-school level and 2 years at elementary level. I am very excited for the 2024-2025 school year at Fayette Central!

Hello Families, my name is Allyson Venable! I am thrilled to be teaching 6th grade this year! I had the opportunity to do field experience with Mrs. Rech last school year and found how much I enjoy the content with this age. I am a student teacher from IUE, so I will be accompanied by Ms. Ladonna Willmann for the first 60 days. I will graduate with a bachelor degree in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education. I found my love for teaching at Little Spartans preschool where you may have seen me the last 3 years. I am so excited to have the opportunity to give back to the school and community that shaped me!

Spartan Family,
We are just a few days away from the start of the 2024-2025 school year. Students should plan to return to school on Wednesday, August 7th. We thank you in advance for your grace and patience as we work hard to iron out beginning of the year transportation needs.
It's not too late to register your child to attend the Fayette County School Corporation. Please contact your child's school to do so. If you are unsure which school your child should attend, please call our FCSC Office at (765) 825-2178 .

IMPORTANT REMINDER!
Under new Indiana law, school districts such as Fayette County School Corporation must adopt policies banning wireless communication devices during instructional time. This includes phones, tablets, laptops, and gaming systems, as well as any other devices that can provide communication between two parties. Due to this new legislation and out of a desire to better serve students, the following policies will be enforced in our school buildings during the 2024-2025 school year.
ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS: Phones and other devices must be powered down and away during school hours.
CONNERSVILLE MIDDLE SCHOOL: Phones and other devices must be powered down and in lockers during school hours.
CONNERSVILLE HIGH SCHOOL: Phones and other devices are permitted to be carried by students, but must be away and not in use during instructional time.

Hello Fayette Central families. My name is Dana Burton. I am very excited to join the hornet team as your Tuesday art teacher. A little about me: I am a wife and mother of four. Our youngest is a 6th grader at Fayette Central this year. We have lived in Fayette County for four years and really enjoy the small town community. I have loved creating art since I was a small child. I attended IU East where I received a bachelors of fine arts, with a concentration in ceramics. I had a 15 year career in social services before returning to my love of art and becoming a teacher for FCSC. I spent my first two years at Eastview Elementary and Connersville Middle School. This year I will be teaching art at Fayette Central, Eastview and Everton. I can’t wait to meet all of the students and share my love of creating.
