Today we'd like to introduce our new Media Specialist; Mrs. Christina Neeley. We've enjoyed our summer by keeping busy and starting new hobbies! We have celebrated many birthdays, watching the fireworks from our backyard, and just all around enjoyed being with family. I look forward to coming back to Fayette Central and being able to start this new journey with everyone. #readytofly

Today e are checking in with Art teacher; Mrs. Cindy Blake. Mrs. Blake has had a really busy summer. She has spent a lot of time with family. She has been working on her daughter’s new house. Mrs. Blake and her husband went to visit Mount Airy, North Carolina, the home of Andy Griffith. Plus she has read lots of books! Now it’s August and time to get back into the art room for avenues of creativity!! #readytofly

Today we check in the physical education teacher, Mr. Chris Bloom. During the summer I have spent time relaxing with family. We went to Life Action Family Camp in Michigan. Took a quick trip to Kings Island with friends. Spent many hours coaching and teaching athletes this summer. I will be the Boy’s JV basketball coach this upcoming season. Excited for another year of teaching our students about healthy choices and lifestyles! #readytofly

Today is the check in we've been anxiously awaiting all summer! We'd like to congratulate Miss Long on her wedding! Our check in today comes from 6th grade teacher, Mrs. Rech! ❤️ I’ve had a fun, adventure filled summer reading, hiking, and kayaking! I got to travel through 10 different states and visit 6 national parks. While visiting Glacier National Park in Montana, I got married! I’ve loved spending time with friends and family this summer, but I’m really looking forward to another great school year!

Today we are checking in with Mrs. Sarah Dorrel; Speech & Language Pathologist. This summer was all about family, 4-H and fun!! I spent the summer by the pool, going to Kings Island with my kids, golfing with friends and many walks with my kids and their 4-H animals! We had a successful week at the Franklin County Fair and capped off summer with a trip to Gettysburg and Ocean City, Maryland. Looking forward to seeing all of my kiddos at school! #readytofly

Happy Friday! Today we are checking in with 3rd grade teacher; Mrs. Kelsi Johnson. During my summer I’ve spent time with my daughter, baking, teaching summer school, and swimming! #readytofly

Today our check in comes from 4th grade teacher; Ms. Penny Pfeiffer. I enjoyed several family gatherings, swimming, lots of golf with my husband, riding our side by side, working out, and mowing. I'm looking forward to our fair and starting year 18 of teaching. #readytofly

Today we are checking in with second grade teacher; Mrs. Jewell Poe. This summer I have enjoyed time with my family. We watched the fireworks and ate s’mores in my backyard. We went to our favorite vacation spot, Daytona Beach. We enjoyed the beach, the lighthouse, great food, and even Buc-ee’s! Ready for another school year! #readytofly

Thank you to all the parents that were able to stop by today to register. We have quite a few parents that did not complete the PowerSchool portion of registration. Your child cannot be assigned a class, until that is complete. If you need help, we will be at school from 8:30 to 3:30 tomorrow. We will also be making phone calls to check in with those that have not registered yet. We look forward to seeing you!

Today's check in is from kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Chelsea Lucas. I have spent most of this summer on the water! We took a family vacation to the Outer Banks. It was beautiful. We also added some miles to our boat out on the lake! Concerts, reading, and a daily gym routine have been sprinkled in as well. It has been a busy summer! #readytofly

Today we are checking in with 1st grade teacher, Mrs. Delaina Bertsch. I have spent my summer enjoying time with my family and friends at home, 4th of July Celebrations, Kings Island, Branson MO, reunions, and many other places. Currently enjoying time with my granddaughter who is home on leave from the US Army. She will be deploying in August. I will soon be in my room preparing for a great school year. #readytofly

Today our check-in comes from sixth grade teacher, Ms. Sandy Peck. This summer I replaced the flooring in my dining room, went to Florida to visit my best friend, watched Jackson's tball games, visited several parks, and relaxed for once. #readytofly

Today we are checking in with kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Nikki Thompson. This summer I have spent time reading, watching my oldest play softball, forming a Bible study with some of our FC ladies and working on VBS at our church. It's been a very fun and relaxing summer but I am looking forward to coming back to work! #readytofly

Today we are checking in with third grade teacher, Mrs. Ashton Boyd. I have had a fun summer with baby Brynlee! We went to the Indianapolis Zoo, swimming, and got to meet a lot of her family members! I’m so excited to see everyone this school year! #readytofly
